Parianware figurine

Mid 19c Copeland parianware figurine
This piece came into the studio having suffered extensive damage. The item was reassembled in a ‘dry run’ to prevent any pieces from being locked out. Then the item was carefully bonded and the missing areas infilled. The repair areas were then colour matched to give the finish of the original ware.

Majolica vase

19c Italian Majolica two handled vase.
This item was very unstable as the base was broken and the dowel running through the body of the piece was rusted and loose. It had been covered with plaster to hold it in place. All the plaster was removed and the base and previous repair dismantled and cleaned. It was sympathetically restored and re-stabilised.

Tureen lid

Late 18c tureen lid painted with polychrome enamels
This item had been previously repaired and was found to be broken into three pieces with much discolouration. The item was cleaned and the dirt and staining removed. After a lengthy drying period the item was rebonded and restored to its original glory thus preventing further damage.
